Our front office and clinical staff are dedicated to providing a welcoming and patient sensitive environment while we diagnose and treat your ear, nose, and throat ailments.  As mothers or care givers themselves, they are sensitive to the family dynamics and needs of all ages of our patient population. Each office employee is dedicated to assisting our professional staff in providing efficient and personable care. All of our office staff are cross trained and certified in CPR and basic life support.

La'Tara Pollard - B.A. Business Administration
Mrs. Pollard has been with Alabama ENT since 2005. She is a certified professional coder and has worked in nearly every aspect of the practice since her arrival. While working full time she completed her bachelor degree in Business Administration in 2012. She directs all aspects of our practice and is instrumental in maintaining the efficient, patient friendly environment that distinguishes our medical practice.

Linda Moore - Receptionist/Scheduler (retired 2015) Part Time
Mrs. Moore was employed by Alabama ENT since 1995. As our former receptionist, she is available as needed and responsible for welcoming you to our practice. She also handles numerous patient phone calls, verifies insurance coverage and scheduling of any allergy tests, surgeries, CT and MRI scans. In addition she informs patients of any co-pays, deductibles,etc. associated with surgeries, testing, or other aspects related to care rendered in our office.


Office Nurses:
Kietra Kidd
Ms. Kidd has been employed with Alabama ENT since 2003 and is a certified medical assistant. She took a brief hiatus to attend nursing school which she finished in 2011. She is familiar with all aspects of our clinic and provides assistance to our professional office staff. She serves as our practice triage nurse and insures that patient information regarding medications, medical and surgical history, allergies, and other data is accurately entered into our electronic medical records system. She also is an allergy technician and assists in the allergy department with skin testing and vial preparation.

Loretta Cook
Ms. Cook has been with Alabama ENT since 2008. She is a certified medical assistant and allergy technician. She assists Dr Sciacca daily in the exam rooms and  answers daily patient phone calls. In addition, she handles all daily written, electronic or faxed medical prescriptions, laboratory specimens, and instrument sterilization as directed by Dr. Sciacca. She is active in the allergy department and performs MQT and IDT skin testing, draws blood for serological allergy tests, and mixes allergy vials.
